Andy Bir is a Brighton-based visual artist who uses the body to engage physically and intimately with the internal realities that we construct in relation to lived experience. His practice includes performance, text, paint, sculpture, photography, and moving image. Much of Bir’s work is fuelled by a traumatic childhood — a time when he often misinterpreted the intimacy on offer.

Andy Bir is a Royal College of Art alumni (2-year MA) who chooses not to subject himself to social media. Should you wish to know more about his work or motivations, he answers all emails as soon as possible.

This page will be updated as often as physically possible.
